Gregory R. Caruso, the Principal and founder of Harvest learned the hard way the difficulties that can arise in a family business, by being in the middle of one.

After that transition, Greg grew several other businesses including a successful transactional law practice. While practicing law, Greg found that many business owners were poorly represented and advised, first when preparing succession plans and exit strategies, and then when selling their businesses.

It became clear that there was a need to educate, advise, and assist business owners who were contemplating and implementing their business succession plans and exit strategies.

Harvest Associates was created to address those needs.

Expert and speaker on business value creation, business mergers and acquisitions. Instrumental in numerous transactions as an owner, attorney, and broker over 20 years. Founded and built local company to 15 million in revenues before selling to partner. Recent transactions include involvement with commercial real estate, distributors, manufacturers, retailers, and professional service companies to name a few.

Licensed Maryland Attorney, Inactive Certified Public Accountant, Certified Valuation Analyst. Graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Accounting, then a JD. Active in the International Business Brokers Association, Association for Corporate Growth, and as Director of the Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber of Commerce
